This is pretty damn cool if I don't say so myself. I have no clue how that is possible, but whatever... it's still awesome.

BioShock = 2 Days to Go - Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007!

Wow... I can't believe BioShock for the Xbox 360 is just a mere 2 days away. It seemed like it'd take forever for BioShock to finally be released, but here we are, less then 50 hours to go.
BioShock has been getting some insanely awesome reviews, mostly 10's, and some 9.4 and higher ratings... that is just amazing. BioShock is going to be one of those rare games that delivers an experience we've never witnessed in video games before.
I just can't wait to get my hands on BioShock this Tuesday. Can hardly wait!
It's going to be one for the ages!

Custom Player brought to you by YOUTUBE!
A new YouTube update allows you to create a custom player, with different themes, layouts, etc. You can even embed it into a website/blog, etc like below:
Pretty cool, eh? But the first thing I noticed though was the quality of the video. However, since I adjusted the width/height* of the player, the quality is obviously fine, but with the bigger version of the player, the quality is not that great. In any case, most videos out there, or some, were recorded at higher resolutions making them far better quality then other videos, so those should look fine in the bigger version of the player.
I wonder what other surprises or updates YouTube will be bringing us. I guess we'll all have to wait and find out. :)
Oh yeah, and the best part is that you only have to generate the code once in the "New Custom Player" screen, so that whenever you add a new video to your favorites, it'll automatically update your embed player on your blog.
*Note: I had to adjust the width/height of the custom player, because it was too large to fit my blog, half of it would have disappeared behind the content on the right-hand side, but you get the point.

Moe's Tavern Mug -- WOOHOO!
I went to Las Vegas with family a few days ago(Tues-Thur) and one of those days I went to a mall across from the Bellagio(which is the hotel we stayed at) and the mall is appropriately named the Miracle Mile shopping mall, since it's literally a mile long in length with lots and lots and lots of stores to shop at.
Anyways, while we were looking for a place to eat at, I seen this cart full of stuff to buy, and found this awesome talking mug. The Moe's Tavern talking mug. I knew I had to get it so I got it for a great price tag of $9.99. Might be cheap, but it looks really durable and plus, it talks!
Here's a pic of it:
Now the question is this, should I use it for drinks or just display it on my shelf for everyone who enters my room to see it in all it's Simpsons glory? Not sure. I should have got two of them, one for display and one for DUFF BABY! Oh well, maybe when I visit Las Vegas again in Nov, I'll get another one if there are more available.
Oh yeah, here's the sound clip(in video form) of what it says:

The Darkness will consume your soul!!!
Finally, after many months in anticipation, The Darkness invades the next-gen consoles today!
The first time I seen The Darkness, it was a teaser trailer, way back when, probably in early 2006, I was immediately intrigued, especially when I actually heard about what the game was about. Being a dead mobster, who has these creatures appropriately named "Darklings" in which they do your bidding, causing havoc all around you, getting revenge for what happened to you. That is just awesome.
Especially with the added multiplayer versus mode over Xbox Live, where you can change forms and become Darkings and back to your former self again. I can't wait to try that out!
I haven't picked up my copy yet, but I will as soon as I get off from work, I'll head over to GameStop and pick it up. I am inching to get my hands on The Darkness.
I can't wait!

Russian Mario?
I've "StumbledUpon"(excuse the bad pun) this new Mario... a Russian Mario, in flash form. It's insane. It's like WOW... don't think Nintendo should do this though, just because it may screw up everyone's image of Mario, how Mario should look.
Whoever made this Russian version of Mario deserves great credit as it's a great work of art.
Check it out by clicking on the above image which will take you directly to the shockwave flash. Enjoy.

I've been busy...
Hey all... I've been pretty busy these past few months... that explains why I haven't updated this blog with anything new since Apr. 1. First of all, I got a new job (as most already know) and my computer's been down(I'm using my laptop which is very, very, very, very slow). This Saturday, I'm finally upgrading my computer which I've been wanting to do for the past two years but couldn't afford it... until now.
I finally took the time to change my blog's layout to something a little better. Once I upgrade my computer, I'm going to see about creating a brand new layout, something video game like and logo with Photoshop. But for now, I think the layout(with no graphics, just colors) is okay for now.
Anyways, check back for more updates and what not, and the new look in the coming weeks.

The granddaddy of them all is finally here - WrestleMania 23!
The biggest of the big. The World Series of Wrestling. The Super Bowl of Wrestling. Today is WrestleMania 23 and it's set out to be one of if not the biggest WrestleMania in WWE history.
With matches such as The Dead Man, The Phenom, Undefeated at WrestleMania, The Undertaker vs. The Animal Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. And The Battle of the Billionaires, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon vs. The Trump himself, Donald Trump and the winner gets to shave the others hair off.
WrestleMania 23 is definitely shaping up to be a huge, huge event, bigger then most other WrestleMania's.
I can't wait!

The wait is over - watch the first ever GTA IV teaser trailer NOW!
The long wait(well, not that long) is finally over. The teaser trailer to one of the most anticipated games of 2007 is now viewable.
Click the above link, enter your birth date and watch away. You will not be disappointed.
The trailer doesn't really show a whole lot in terms of gameplay, but it does show you who will probably be the starring character and also shows you that the graphics are "Next-Gen".
Hopefully in the coming weeks, Rockstar will give a slew of new information regarding their huge game.
Anyways, that being said, time to go watch the trailer again.

Grand Theft Auto IV Trailer Thursday!

The above logo is the only bit of media that has been released by Rockstar since they first announced GTA IV at last year's E3 by Peter Moore himself with a tattoo proving there will be a GTA game on the X-Box 360 for the first time ever and on the same day as the PS3 release.
But the first ever GTA IV trailer will be released tomorrow. Click on the link above to directly go to the GTA IV countdown.
What can GTA IV offer that will totally make the game unbeatable? Online Competitive play? Better graphics? Downloadable content? An all-new character creator? Better gameplay?
I guess we'll have to wait and see tomorrow when I'm sure GTA IV information will be rapidly flowing the internet, as the first official trailer will be released.

Shivering Isles now on X-Box Live!
After a very long wait, Shivering Isles, Oblivion's first ever expansion, hits X-Box Live.
First of all, you get more then 30 hours of new gameplay, 10 new achievements, new quests, creatures, weapons, and a whole lot more.
The expansion is approx. 993.75 MB and costs you a whopping 2400 MS points. That's not too bad, considering you get a lot.
Anyways, get going warrior and start fighting the good fight!

Good riddens, Jack Thompson!
It looks like Jack Thompson, the violent videogame hunter, is on a crusade to rid yet another violent videogame from earth, but this time, he's leading his crusade to another place, the UK.
It appears that the crusader is after the ultra-violent, ultra gory game, Manhunt 2, in attempt to save the youth of tomorrow. But when will he realize that violent videogames don't cause our youth to do stupid things? I have no idea. That day may never come to be. But I can say this though, thank GOD he's leaving the US to do harm elsewhere.
Here's to you Jack and your misguided crusade:

I'm gonna CrackithDown on crime today!

Yep, that's right... Crackdown for the X-Box 360 is going to be hitting stores today and I can't wait!
I'll be heading over to my local GameStop at 10:00am to get the game.
Here's a brief description of Crackdown:
"Crackdown" pushes the action-driving hybrid genre into the next generation with the first ever truly 3-D playground. Gamers will enforce justice by any means necessary in Pacific City, a crime-ridden urban center built to encourage the exploration of the full width, depth and height of the city. Coupled with highly innovative co-op gameplay — a genre first — and an interactive world where nearly anything can be used as a weapon, gamers will be able to create a volatile cocktail of judicial oppression as they clean up the streets.
Anyone who owns an X-Box 360 must get Crackdown. The demo is on the X-Box Live Marketplace, so try it before you buy it I guess, but take my word for it, it's awesome. It's kind of like GTA, since it's free roaming, but I think it's a lot better then the previous GTAs and I mean "previous" , because GTA IV hasn't been released yet .
Anyways, go get Crackdown today.

Bill Gates' Speech
I received an interesting e-mail from a friend. It's pretty true. Here it is:
Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! To anyone with kids of any age, here's some advice.
Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.
Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3: You will NOT make $80,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.
If you agree, pass it on. If you can read this - Thank a teacher!
If you are reading it in English - Thank a soldier!

A new change
Well, I think it's about that time again that I change the way my blog looks and feels. A kind of a new change is in order.
And my apologies for not posting anything new for the past several months, but I've been really busy IRL with my job and so fourth. I will hopefully start posting stuff on a regular basis; that's my plan anyways.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 fights it's way onto the X-Box Live Arcade!
After many months following it's upcoming release onto the X-Box Live Arcade, UMK3 is finally on the arcade!
Last Friday, I guess UMK3 accidently got released to the X-Box Live Arcade, without any word or notice from Microsoft and was on there for a few hours or something, then got taken down. I went onto the X-Box Live Arcade today and seen that it was still there, so either it was never taken down or was put back up because so many people have already downloaded the game so what would be the point of taking it down, right?
Anyways... go get UMK3 now!

Lack of updates...
Sorry all for the lack of updates. I've been pretty busy in RL(hence, laziness... j/k hehe) and haven't had a chance to update this blog for awhile with new posts, updates, etc.
But that will soon change, I hope.
I'm going to be working on a videogame inspired logo soon and also possibly see about changing this layout, as well to something more... 'videogame like'.
Also, I'm going to be posting my experiences on the action/suspense/horror themed game, Condemned: Criminal Origin later today or tomorrow, whenever I find the time.
That's it for now, so stay tuned!

The 2006 Game Critic Awards
Well... this year is looking more and more promising for videogames... probably one of the biggest years for videogames ever. The Nintendo Wii. The PS3. X-Box 360. X-Box Live Arcade and awhole slew of PC Games, X-Box 360 Games and more.
And a time of games comes a time of the 2006 Game Critic Awards where videogame journalists across the country come together to give out their thoughts on what was the best the videogame industry has to offer.
One thing I'm totally glad happened was them giving the Nintendo Wii the award for "Best of Show" for E3 2006 along with "Best Hardware/Peripheral" and "Best Sports Game".
There were a lot of other awards given out to other games, obviously and one being "Best Console Game" for Gears of War, which was awesome. Am highly looking forward to that one.
And another game that caught my eye awhile back was Spore, which was given several awards including "Best Original Game".
Check the list out and see what you think.

I finally got my X-Box Live Diamond Card!
Well, it's been several months since I signed up to recieve the X-Box Live Diamond Card, but it finally came in the mail today!
The only way you can recieve an X-Box Live Diamond Card is by being a subscriber of X-Box Live for one full year(12 months) and I've been an X-Box Live subscriber for two years or longer.
What's cool about the X-Box Live Diamond Card is the ability to use it to get discounts on cool stuff at participating retailers like a "Rent one movie/get the second rental free" deal at Hollywood Video and other great offers that are only offered to people who have an X-Box Live Diamond Card. It's a pretty sweet thing they've done.
Here's my X-Box Live Diamond Card:
