Animation vs. Animation
This has got to be one of the best and most entertaining flash animation videos I've seen in a long while. The way everything was put together is just outstanding. There was so much going on, everything was perfectly animated. I did not want it to end, but it eventually did. :(
Hopefully there will be a Pt. 2 or a sequel someday. I will definitely be looking out for that.
Here it is in all its "animated glory", enjoy:

Halo 3's launch has become the biggest event in entertainment history!
Yesterday, Microsoft officially announced Halo 3's launch is the biggest event in entertainment history, totaling sales of more then $170m in the U.S. alone, passing every single big hollywood movie on opening day in history! Read more...
There was speculation about Halo 3 surpassing Halo 2's first day totals($125m) by about $30m totaling $155m, but I bet they never expected Halo 3's first day totals to be $170m which is a huge leap from Halo 2's first day totals. It's awesome and I applaud both Microsoft Game Studios and Bungie Studios for doing one hell of a job with all the promotions, getting that Halo 3 hype way up there and for making Halo 3 the great game that it is.
Great job!

The Day after Halo 3
Wow... today is the day after Halo 3, in case anyone hadn't noticed and the rush is finally subsiding, yet there's still a lot of stuff happening right now in the Halo Universe.
First off I'd like to say that waiting three-four years was well worth the wait. Absolutely. I couldn't be any more happier with the game and that's including the Campaign and Multiplayer.
The story thus far(haven't beat it yet) is just remarkable. The action is intense especially with everything happening at once, it's incredible. The gameplay is pretty much the same, other then a few things that you can do differently. The graphics were obviously upgraded and improved because of obvious reasons, yet the graphics aren't as great as Gears of War or BioShock, but still a hell of a lot better then Halo 2's graphics. Whatever, just as long as the game is fun as hell(and it is!) then that's all that should really matter anyways, right? Yep, right.
So in conclusion, Halo 3 is an experience you should not miss out on, whether your a casual or hardcore gamer. But if you haven't played Halo: Combat Evolved or Halo 2, then don't both with Halo 3 since you won't know what's going on(story wise) and the story is the best part, next to the gameplay.
Well, anyways, I'm off to go play more Halo 3. Peace.

I now have Halo 3!!!!! WOOHOO!
So I finally got the Halo 3 Legendary(OR ULTIMATE) Edition and I can't be any happier about it.
After work today, I went home to get a few things and then drove to Orange County and then waited at my dads house for awhile. Then around 9:00, I drove to my local GameStop to pick up the final receipt. There was actually two lines, one line for getting the final receipt(which you get only if you paid in full earlier in the day) and then the other line was where all the people went after getting the final receipt.
Anyways, I waited and waited, listened to my Video iPod. So finally the time arrived(12:01am) to get my copy of Halo 3 Legendary Edition. I was pretty far back in the line(kind of), so I thought it'd take at least 30 minutes, but nope... since everyone had already paid in full, the line went quicker then I had originally thought, like 5 minutes I was out the door with my Halo 3 Legendary Edition in hand.
Then I drove home, thanks to my Monster, I did not fall asleep.
Anyways, I'm off to play Halo 3(Just had to make this blog post first, haha). Laterz!

Halo 3 = Tomorrow at MIDNIGHT!
Wow... I can't believe tomorrow night at 12:01am Halo 3 will be released to the general public!
And I will be in attendance at my local GameStop(In Orange County) since I pre-ordered it there back in Nov. 2006(where I use to live), but then this past April I moved to Los Angeles. So I gotta do a bit of driving tomorrow after work, but it's all good... after all, it's Halo 3!
Halo 3 is my most anticipated game of 2007 and I'm not just saying that either.. because of all the promotions and hype building up around the game.
I've been waiting for Halo 3 since the second I beat Halo 2 and that was close to three years ago.
I'm sure Halo 3 is going to live up to the hype and even beyond that. I'm now counting the seconds.
I can't wait!

Halo 3... right around the corner!

Wow... can't believe it's already Sept... Sept. 1 to be exact and Halo 3 is right around the corner.
Possibly the biggest game of the year, an easy contender for "Game of the Year", and it's almost here!
I remember preordering the Halo 3 Legendary Edition last Nov and now it's already Sept, the month of one of the biggest events in gaming history!
Halo 3 is going to be everything Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 was, but a thousand times better(I HOPE!), both Campaign Mode and Multiplayer.
I was apart of the Halo 3 MP Beta a few months back and that was a lot of fun, even though it was just a beta. So, the final retail version of the mutiplayer espect I'm sure is gonna be awesome as I'm sure the Campaign part is gonna blow everyone's mind.
Sept. 25 is the biggest day of this month and it's gonna be one hell of an awesome ride!

I have finally received my Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare BETA Token

I just got home from work a little while ago, turned on my computer then went to check my e-mail to see if I got the CoD: Modern Warfare Beta Token and low and behold it was there! I clicked on the e-mail, and BAM, there was the token(code) with instructions on how to download the beta.
So I zoomed right over to my 360, turned it on and entered the code... and started downloading it.
And I must say that I am very happy right now about this. Sure, I know it's just a "BETA" and it's ONLY multiplayer at this point, but still, to have a chance to play the game this early on is just awesome.
I was thinking to myself, "Am I going to get the PC or Xbox 360 version of the game", because I still am in a Call of Duty 1/2 clan but aren't that active these days, so if they become active again when Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare gets released, then I'll be sure to get the PC version. But then again, I've been hearing really good things about the Xbox 360 version, so who knows, maybe I'll get both versions. Call me crazy, but I am a gamer and that's what we gamers do, buy video games, even two different versions of the same game. haha
Hmm... why am I still typing? The beta has finished downloading, so see ya all in the BETA! WooHoo!

Mass Effect - What We Know So Far...

Wow... I've been impressed with Mass Effect since way back when, probably 6 months ago and even then the game looked awesome, but now since the game is coming out in Nov., the game looks even better then before.
The graphics are just incredible, probably the best ever in a console game, even possibly better then the graphics in Gears of War, and entirely in-game footage, too, even games before it, cut-scene wise were absolutely astonishing, but they were cut-scenes and those graphics in Mass Effect are in-game, which is awesome.
I just hope the game plays as good as it looks, so maybe they will release a demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace at the end of Oct. to give everyone a feel for what to expect in the final retail version? One can only hope.

Duke Nukem Prank
A person invaded someone's Lord of the Rings Online Guild Ventrilo server and started playing Duke Nukem Soundclips and was pissing off the server host to the point that the girl/guy was having a meltdown... on the server! It was crazy. Watch and listen as I'm sure you will be laughing hysterically for the next hour. hahahh
Or... that wasn't a soundclip and that was in fact, the real Duke Nukem? hahah

BioShock = 2 Days to Go - Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007!

Wow... I can't believe BioShock for the Xbox 360 is just a mere 2 days away. It seemed like it'd take forever for BioShock to finally be released, but here we are, less then 50 hours to go.
BioShock has been getting some insanely awesome reviews, mostly 10's, and some 9.4 and higher ratings... that is just amazing. BioShock is going to be one of those rare games that delivers an experience we've never witnessed in video games before.
I just can't wait to get my hands on BioShock this Tuesday. Can hardly wait!
It's going to be one for the ages!

Custom Player brought to you by YOUTUBE!
A new YouTube update allows you to create a custom player, with different themes, layouts, etc. You can even embed it into a website/blog, etc like below:
Pretty cool, eh? But the first thing I noticed though was the quality of the video. However, since I adjusted the width/height* of the player, the quality is obviously fine, but with the bigger version of the player, the quality is not that great. In any case, most videos out there, or some, were recorded at higher resolutions making them far better quality then other videos, so those should look fine in the bigger version of the player.
I wonder what other surprises or updates YouTube will be bringing us. I guess we'll all have to wait and find out. :)
Oh yeah, and the best part is that you only have to generate the code once in the "New Custom Player" screen, so that whenever you add a new video to your favorites, it'll automatically update your embed player on your blog.
*Note: I had to adjust the width/height of the custom player, because it was too large to fit my blog, half of it would have disappeared behind the content on the right-hand side, but you get the point.

Moe's Tavern Mug -- WOOHOO!
I went to Las Vegas with family a few days ago(Tues-Thur) and one of those days I went to a mall across from the Bellagio(which is the hotel we stayed at) and the mall is appropriately named the Miracle Mile shopping mall, since it's literally a mile long in length with lots and lots and lots of stores to shop at.
Anyways, while we were looking for a place to eat at, I seen this cart full of stuff to buy, and found this awesome talking mug. The Moe's Tavern talking mug. I knew I had to get it so I got it for a great price tag of $9.99. Might be cheap, but it looks really durable and plus, it talks!
Here's a pic of it:
Now the question is this, should I use it for drinks or just display it on my shelf for everyone who enters my room to see it in all it's Simpsons glory? Not sure. I should have got two of them, one for display and one for DUFF BABY! Oh well, maybe when I visit Las Vegas again in Nov, I'll get another one if there are more available.
Oh yeah, here's the sound clip(in video form) of what it says:

The Darkness will consume your soul!!!
Finally, after many months in anticipation, The Darkness invades the next-gen consoles today!
The first time I seen The Darkness, it was a teaser trailer, way back when, probably in early 2006, I was immediately intrigued, especially when I actually heard about what the game was about. Being a dead mobster, who has these creatures appropriately named "Darklings" in which they do your bidding, causing havoc all around you, getting revenge for what happened to you. That is just awesome.
Especially with the added multiplayer versus mode over Xbox Live, where you can change forms and become Darkings and back to your former self again. I can't wait to try that out!
I haven't picked up my copy yet, but I will as soon as I get off from work, I'll head over to GameStop and pick it up. I am inching to get my hands on The Darkness.
I can't wait!

Russian Mario?
I've "StumbledUpon"(excuse the bad pun) this new Mario... a Russian Mario, in flash form. It's insane. It's like WOW... don't think Nintendo should do this though, just because it may screw up everyone's image of Mario, how Mario should look.
Whoever made this Russian version of Mario deserves great credit as it's a great work of art.
Check it out by clicking on the above image which will take you directly to the shockwave flash. Enjoy.

I've been busy...
Hey all... I've been pretty busy these past few months... that explains why I haven't updated this blog with anything new since Apr. 1. First of all, I got a new job (as most already know) and my computer's been down(I'm using my laptop which is very, very, very, very slow). This Saturday, I'm finally upgrading my computer which I've been wanting to do for the past two years but couldn't afford it... until now.
I finally took the time to change my blog's layout to something a little better. Once I upgrade my computer, I'm going to see about creating a brand new layout, something video game like and logo with Photoshop. But for now, I think the layout(with no graphics, just colors) is okay for now.
Anyways, check back for more updates and what not, and the new look in the coming weeks.

The granddaddy of them all is finally here - WrestleMania 23!
The biggest of the big. The World Series of Wrestling. The Super Bowl of Wrestling. Today is WrestleMania 23 and it's set out to be one of if not the biggest WrestleMania in WWE history.
With matches such as The Dead Man, The Phenom, Undefeated at WrestleMania, The Undertaker vs. The Animal Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. And The Battle of the Billionaires, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon vs. The Trump himself, Donald Trump and the winner gets to shave the others hair off.
WrestleMania 23 is definitely shaping up to be a huge, huge event, bigger then most other WrestleMania's.
I can't wait!
